⚠️ Special rules

Le Savoy field, in Chamonix, is the landing zone close to the Planpraz gondola, mainly used by tandem pilots for fast turnarounds. Its use by small-surface wings (speed, mini-wing, parakite) is conditional on strict compliance with the cohabitation charter and on wearing the SPEED CHX sticker on the helmet.

⚠️ Special rules

Wearing the SPEED CHX sticker on the helmet is mandatory: ask for it via the WhatsApp group
The number of stickers is limited for now
The sticker is personal and non-transferable: lending or exchanging helmets/stickers is forbidden
The club may refuse to issue the sticker if the pilot's technical level is deemed insufficient
Respect temporary closures (events, gatherings, works); check for restrictions before every takeoff
If the site is closed, landing must be redirected to the Bois du Bouchet
Land in the same direction as other pilots already committed: no head-on landings
Fly a stabilized approach: a box (PTU) pattern or a straight final after a last turn of 90° maximum
No acrobatics before landing (360s, barrel rolls, wing-overs)
Short flare with a precise, controlled touchdown, no excessive or prolonged low-altitude speed (no swoop)
Absolute priority to slower wings (tandems and solos) already committed on final
Keep a safety margin above pedestrians, children and houses
Bundle up the wing and clear the landing area immediately after stopping
No packing up on the landing area: only in the yellow zone at the edge of the field
Any breach results in immediate confiscation of the sticker and a permanent ban from the site
